Lapacho is used by several South and Central American indigenous peoples as a "cure-to-all" herbal medicine.

Lapacho is believed to be antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal. It is also said Lapacho can strengthen immune system hence a great herbal drink in the cold and flu season.

Some also take lapacho infusion for yeast infection, minor skin disorder and joint complaints.

Lapacho is also called Pau D'Arco in Portuguese and Taheebo. This South American herb consists of a inner lining of the bark called phloam (pronounced as "floam") from the Pau D'Arco tree.

Some believe Lapacho has great healing benefits exceeding ginseng.

Lapacho Tea

My husband has a prostate cancer problem, and it was recommended to us that this tea is very good at helping to combat prostate cancer. We have now been using this tea for over two years and thankfully the cancer blood count level is negligible.

Both our tea and herbal blends come sealed in food grade, air-tightĀ packages. TheĀ packages are re-sealable by means of a zip lock to ensure freshness is maintained after each use.Ā Retail tea packages come in three sizes - 50g, 250g and 500g.

  • The 50g pouch is most suited for general consumption andĀ makesĀ between 15 - 20 cups of tea depending on the tea variety (based on approxĀ 3g / 1 teaspoon per cup).Ā 
  • The 250g pouch is for the more ā€œavidā€ tea drinker and makes between 80 - 90 cups of tea, or a cup per day for up to 3 months!
  • The 500g pouch is perfect for those that fall in love with a particular tea variety andĀ consume teaĀ as often as we do! A 500g pouch willĀ makeĀ between 160 - 180 cups of tea, or a cup per day for up to 6 months!
